I think this is gonna be the closest thing to holiday in holland

I definately fancy this. I've done Hull to Rotterdam three times by bike, I even took Ali once but she'll be working-Oh how unfortunate!
It's like a mini cruise. You get on, have your tea, have a few bevvies, sleep, breakfast just as your pulling in. We've found Holland a very friendly place and I don't just mean those girls who sit in shop windows either!

Im defo doing this one so looking forward to it and at least andy knows the score

I envisage there shouldnt be too much difference from last year.

£20 Rally. Ferry prices Around 80 to 90 pounds to share a 4 berth cabin with 4 scoots and 4 people.

depends on the ferry tickets id av thought..if their concessions you'll be tied to a days of travel.. and dont forget its an overnight ferry anyway so we prob will have to anyway.

I'm better than defo for this. I'll have just given up my shop a month before and I love Holland. It's England abroad. Great beer, great people and, if it matters I don't feel foreign there!!

... plus i dont care.. if it means knocking a couple of rallies off that i usually do ie pontins and a couple of smaller dos,then so be it..

YSA Holland 2012.


Hi E veryone,
Here we go again!!!
Already I have had enquires regarding this event from as far as Wigan and Ayr in Scotland.
Registration for this event starts thru me begins on Saturday 3rd December
Date for the 2012 event at Heersjansdam near Rotterdam in Holland inclusive of the ferry journey is Thursday Evening 14th June to Monday morning 18th June.
I shall be working with P&O to get you the best Cabin prices. I am hoping there will be not too big a difference from last years prices.
Example 2011.. Four people sharing a 4 berth inside cabin with 4 scooters both ways worked out at £75 to £80 a person.
Rally fee. Probably £20 again.
This year there will be no problems with me or anyone else recieving your cheques. All monies for the Rally, TShirts and Cabin fees will go directly into the Selby Branch of Yorkshire Bank via my paying in book.
We learnt a few lessons fom the last Rally in Holland regarding the event TShirts. This time all pre ordered tshirts will be paid for up front.
Remember you must be a YSA Member to take advantage of our discounted cabin prices
I shall remind you of the information I require shortly.

Event Registration 2012
Remember Registration does not begin until Saturday 3rd December.
As before cabins are allocated on a "first come first served" basis.
I have initially asked if we can reserve enough Cabins for 350 people.
Here is the information I need from you guys for registration once it starts.
Name
Individual Contact Number
Individual Email address
Scooter Club/Solo Details
TShirt sizes if any wanted.
Scooter/Car/Van Details.Make.Model.Registration Number. Size of Van or Motorhome is also important.
Rider or Pillion or Passenger in Van or Car.
Deadlines
Got to set time limits so that all arrangements can be completed prior to the event.
Registration and Rally Fees. Must be completed 6 weeks before the event. Thursday 3rd May.
Cabin Fees. Must be paid in 4 weeks before the Event. Thursday 17th May.
Tshirts Fees. Must be paid in 6 weeks before the event. Thursday 3rd May.
i will no doubt remind you from time to time that all cheques must be made payable to "The Yorkshire Scooter Alliance".
Knowing P&O It maybe January before I get the Cabin details. Fear not I will comunicate that information to you once I recieve it
Cheques for the Rally, which is organised by the Dutch Lions SC and supported by the YSA must be kept seperate from the Cabin Fees and TShirt Fees. Three seperate cheques please.

Anyway, you could see Elland Road from upstairs in the house where I was born. On a Saturday you could hear the crowd and with the wind in the right direction you could smell their fear! I have more right to be a YSA member than most.
