Vespa wheel change stand.

You can picture the scene. You get a puncture, but that's OK, it's a Vespa, so you have a spare wheel. All you need to do is lay your pride and joy over on a convenient anorak or similar. You may scratch the paint but at least you'll get home.




Or you could use a convenient stand which easily fits in your toolbox. Unlike those available on the internet it fits under the shock absorber mount. Those which fit under the gear selector can scratch you cases. It's easy for one person to put the stand under the mount and slide your scoot back, lifting the rear wheel clear.

Andy,great idea mate... got a thought tho.. how about havin a telescopic tube in 2 pieces (a peg to lock together?) and a 13mm socket welded into one tube.. easy t carry, bit like a swiss army scoot tool??!!

Trouble is, Ste, these only take 10 minutes to make so can be cheap. It's only 22cm long and weighs 250g as is.
